Community projects:  We are still looking for ideas that residents in the community consider important.  An item some residents have suggested in the past:  Build a gazebo in the filed that is adjacent to the intersection of Pelham Dale and Manor roads or put in a play ground. There are some residents think that we should purchase a new entry way sign. We would like to get you opinions and ideas. 

Infractions:  Over the last year we have fielded a number of questions about infractions from various residents – a number of those surfaced near the end of the summer, and we saw infractions that ran the gambit.  Well here is the bottom line: the by-laws we have are the by-laws we have and no official actions have been taken to amend them (with the exception of sheds).  We ask that everyone please abide by the rules we currently have in place.  The money we spend dealing with infractions is money we can use for other community projects. 

If you have a question about an action you are about to take, stop – and call the arch committee (Susan Mainolfi – 410.392.4739.) The committee is willing to work with residents.  Last year trailers, pools, temporary pools, RV’s, and boats were activities that received comments.  The bottom-line is they are not allowed. The board is willing to entertain changes to the by-laws provided they are in good taste and don’t result in a visual condition that does not match that of the community.  If you have recommendations for changes, get them in now, there may some special cases out there.  We are near completing a cover to cover review of the by-laws and will soon be putting out a document what you can cast your vote on. 

Owners with pets:

1. If you have a pet that you walk around the neighborhood, please carry a bag with you so that you may remove “fido’s” poop.  With the summer heat coming, if “fido” is an outdoor dog, then we ask residents pick up poop on a regular basis and throw lime a couple times a year to take down the uric acid in the animal’s urine.

2. Dogs that are nuisance barkers or that charge the fence must be properly restrained.  In the event a young child or a pedestrian is bitten there could be dire consequences for the animal. Please take the proper steps to protect others.
